Who we are

This site (elladvisory.com) is run by Ejaz Learning Limited, trading as Ell Advisory (“we”, “us”), a company registered in England & Wales (no. 15191805) and based in Peterborough. Questions about this policy or your data go to fawad@elladvisory.com.

What we collect

What you give us: when you fill in a form, book a call or take one of our assessments, that can include your name, work email, company, phone number and anything you tell us about your business.

What is collected as you browse: your IP address, browser and device, the pages you view and where you came from, through the tools listed below. We also keep our own record of clicks on the call, booking and form buttons, with the ad campaign that brought you. That record uses no cookies and does not store your IP address.

Cookies and tools we use

Only if you accept cookies

• Google Analytics (googletagmanager.com) — Counts visits and page views, so we can see which pages are useful. On our Google ad landing pages it runs without asking; see below.
• Google Ads (googletagmanager.com) — Measures which of our Google ads lead to calls and enquiries. On our Google ad landing pages it runs without asking; see below.
• Meta Pixel (connect.facebook.net) — Measures whether our Facebook and Instagram ads lead to visits and enquiries.
• Apollo.io (assets.apollo.io) — Works out which company a visit came from, using the IP address, so we can follow up with businesses that have shown interest.

Always, because the site needs them to work

• Loom (loom.com) — Plays the walkthrough video on the homepage and some landing pages. Loom sets its own cookies as soon as the player loads, including an anonymous ID it uses to count views. To avoid them, block loom.com in your browser.
• Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights — Count page views and measure how fast pages load. They set no cookies and keep nothing that identifies you.
• Google Calendar (calendar.google.com) — The booking calendar. Nothing loads from Google until you click to show it. If you book, Google handles the booking details.

You choose in the cookie banner on your first visit, and you can change your mind at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. Our Google landing pages, /monday-report and /quiet-customers, and the sample report pages under /samples, show no banner. Google Analytics and the Loom player run there for every visitor, and Google Ads also runs on /monday-report and /quiet-customers, so we can measure which ads lead to enquiries. The Meta pixel and Apollo do not run on those pages at all. If you stay on one of those pages for 20 seconds, we tell Google you accept advertising cookies for the rest of your visit, unless you have declined cookies elsewhere on the site. The other tools that need consent only load there if you have already accepted elsewhere on the site.

Who handles your data for us

• Vercel hosts the site.
• Supabase stores what you send us through the site's forms.
• Resend sends the emails those forms trigger.
• OpenAI writes the results of the online assessments from the answers you give.

Some of these providers, and some of the tools above, are based in the US. Where your data leaves the UK, it is protected by the safeguards UK GDPR requires, such as the UK–US data bridge or standard contractual clauses.

How we use your data

• To reply to enquiries, call bookings and assessment requests.
• To send you the reports and resources you ask for.
• To see how the site and our ads are performing, so we can improve them.
• To spot companies that may be a good fit, from their visits to the site, so we can follow up where it makes sense.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for anything beyond running Ell Advisory and its marketing.

How long we keep it

Enquiry and booking details are kept for as long as they are useful to the business relationship, and deleted if you ask. Analytics data is kept for each provider's default period, typically 14 to 26 months.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, and object to how we use it. Email fawad@elladvisory.com to do any of these. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We update this page when the tools we use or our legal obligations change. The date at the top always shows the latest version.
